Order Processing Time

Check a listing carefully to understand if a product is pre-made and ready to ship OR if the product is handcrafted after the order is placed. Vintage & Pre-made items are processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Custom made-to-order products can take up to 3 to 5 business days to be created for you. Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.

The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.

We make every effort to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible. However, actual colors may vary slightly, as each electronic device reproduces color a bit differently.

Jewelry:

Depending on your body’s chemistry, you may find wearing brass or copper can turn the skin green. Copper can oxidize with the acid and moisture on your skin to create the green tinge. However, skin discoloration is not permanent or harmful and can be easily removed with soap & water. If you wear your jewelry long enough, your body will adapt and the green will stop. It’s important to note that skin discoloration from jewelry is not the same as an allergic reaction.

Although rare, some people are allergic to the metals commonly used in jewelry making. It is the responsibility of the consumer to be aware of any allergies they have to metals. Paper Michey will not be held liable for any allergic reactions that may occur as a result of wearing our jewelry.

Returns & Refunds


ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We only refund or replace items if they are defective or damaged. In a rare instance that we do accept a return, our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. Therefore items received more than 30 days from purchase date are not eligible for return, refund or replacement. Please contact us within 1 week of delivery at info@papermichey.com or via our contact form. 


Refunds (if applicable)

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Unauthorized returns will NOT be accepted. Item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Please note that customers are responsible for all shipping expenses when returning an item. Therefore, if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund

Artisan Jewelry:

Each piece of jewelry is custom made to your specifications. For that reason, we do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final.

There are certain situations where a refund or exchange may be granted. Such as any item that is damaged or missing parts on arrival or wrong item was received. This does not include damaged items due to wear and tear as well as oxidation (tarnish). Please follow our jewelry care guide to help keep your jewelry in the best possible condition. 

Vintage & Redesigns:

Due to the nature of our clothing items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns and/or exchanges. We do our best to accurately represent all items with detailed photos, descriptions and measurements so our customers know exactly what they are buying. In addition, buyers are always encouraged to contact us with any questions or concerns prior to purchasing.

However, if you’re unsatisfied with your order and feel the item has been grossly misrepresented, please contact us within 1 week of delivery at info@papermichey.com or via our contact form.

Shipping & Delivery

We offer FREE Shipping on orders over $75 or $5 Flat Rate for order under $75. Currently, we ship within the contiguous United States only, but this may change in the near future.

Selecting expedited shipping during checkout does not ensure a faster processing time. Custom orders may still need 3 to 5 Business Days to be handmade.

Orders are processed and shipped via USPS First Class or Ground service. US orders typically arrive within 3-5 business days after the package has been shipped (excluding Sundays or bank holidays). A shipping notice with tracking info will be emailed to you upon shipment.

Please note that while we make every effort to supply our customers with accurate delivery times, once your package is shipped, it is no longer our responsibility. Paper Michey will not be liable for lost or stolen packages that are marked delivered.

Please make sure you’ve entered the correct shipping address for your order. We’re not responsible for any package that is returned or lost due to an address error.

If you feel your package has been lost or stolen, please contact your local post office for more information. Still can’t find it? Let us know and we will try our best to help locate your package.

If an item is damaged during shipment due to mishandling, please take a photo of the damaged package BEFORE opening it so that we can work together and file a claim with the Postal Services to cover a replacement.

If a package is returned to us due to missed delivery, customer must cover the cost for reshipment.

Packaging

In an effort to be greener, your order will arrive in ONE package regardless of how many items purchased. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOUR ORDER CONTAINS MULTIPLE GIFTS so that we can box them separately for you.

We believe in recycling, so whenever possible, we reuse packaging and materials (such as boxes, paper & bubble wrap) and strongly encourage you to do the same. Also, in an effort to reduce our paper usage, we send Order Receipts via email. If you need a hard copy with your package, please contact us asap after purchasing.
