This denim project has been in the works for months! I wanted to start off the year with a BIG creative challenge…and let’s just say, I picked something very ambitious 😅

I’m currently handsewing each flower onto my project with care (and a few finger pricks) 🌸

This is probably the quickest and easiest upcycle I’ve ever done, and the results speak for themselves. ✂️ I whipped this up in just a couple of hours, with most of the time spent removing the turtleneck lol. No sewing machine required. Just a few snips here and there and a bit of hand sewing. 🎀 Oh, and it’s reversible too! I had this vintage dress and an idea to upcycle it

I had this vintage dress and an idea to upcycle it by incorporating the belt buckle as a decorative accent. Coming up with the idea was the easy part. Figuring out how to make it work was another challenge. 🤦‍♀️

I actually had to sleep on it for a couple of days because I wanted the buckle to be removable. I was worried it might tarnish in the wash. 🤷‍♀️

That’s when it hit me, Why not make the dress convertible? In the end, I transformed it into a two-piece set! ✂️ It turned out to be one of my most versatile and favorite remakes so far. Check out the tutorial to see how everything came together! 💃🏻
