Every time I visited a certain department at the thrift store, I saw these “things” more than anything. Figured maybe it’s cause they’re dated. A few times I wanted to get a couple and see what I could do with them but kept putting it off. Especially when it came time to narrow down my picks before hitting the register.
This time was different. There I was sifting through the rack, when I glanced over at the end of the isle and this one caught my eye. Dunno if it was because of the way it was stuffed amongst the other hangers with the ruffles jetting out, that I thought “Wow! I could see this being useful for a tiered dress.”
Being in my element, I took it home and got to work. But first, I needed to take “before” shots. I thought, for the fun of it, I’d stage it in the way it was intended to be used.
Then it hit me. I have to do wahhh?? The amount of work it would require for me to set it up wasn’t worth the effort. That’s an extra step no one can include in their busy lives these days. Then, I realized why not many people uses them anymore! What am I talking about? I could tell you but I rather show you instead 🙂
