Ever wondered how to turn a skirt into a dress, without looking like you’re obviously wearing a skirt AS a dress?? Here I show you how to convert a maxi skirt into a glamorous long sleeve dress equipped with a bodysuit (gasp!) Of course you could always forgo the bodysuit if you choose.
For this remake, I used a long sheer skirt lined with a mini underneath. While this particular skirt trend was around a few years ago, I’ve noticed bodysuit versions or ones with undergarments (briefs) in its place.
It’s easy to see why bodysuits have gained popularity. The form-fitting style does wonders for the figure. They create a smooth polished look with ease without you constantly having to adjust them.
So besides transforming the skirt into a dress, I also took the opportunity to show you how to easily hack a bodysuit. With a little know-how, this technique can be applied using tops as well.
