Now that mandates have eased in most places it raises the question, “What the heck do we do with all the masks we’ve accumulated?” Hopefully you haven’t tossed them out yet because I’ll show you a few ways you can go about upcycling them.
The first and most simplest way to reuse cloth masks is to wear them around the house when doing chores such as yard work or dusting for instance. I find they come in handy for things of that nature especially if you’re prone to allergies.
I had some samples leftover from my shop and wondered what I was going to do with them. That’s when I got the idea to create a video showing a few fashionable ways to repurpose them. You can turn then in bow appliqué, knee patches, bucket bags (my fav) or even bralettes 😀 Check out the video below to see how.
This video only applies to washable cloth face masks and not disposables, which are made for single use only.

This look is giving armor/ knee pad vibes 😀
There are tons of ways to recycle those mask. Possibilities are endless. I’m sure I’m just brushing the surface. However, I hope this video has inspired you to save those masks and upcycle them into something new.
Which project would you say is your fave?
